Eucharistic adoration
Eucharistic Adoration is an extension of the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which occurs in every Mass: "Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb." Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament flows from the sacrifice of the Mass and serves to deepen our hunger for Communion with Christ and the rest of the Church. We often hear in the Gospels of Jesus “going to a lonely place…to pray” (Luke 5:16, Luke 6:12-13 and Mark 1:35.)
Adoration is offered three times a week see Bulletin or Mass times, and though we participate in Adoration with others, it is nevertheless at time for us to be alone, in the silence, with the Lord, present in the blessed sacrament exposed in the Monstrance, and in the company of other people.
